Welcome Wagon – To help you and your family get better acquainted with the new neighbourhood you are moving to, Walker’s/Capital, as a member of United Van Lines, has partnered with Welcome Wagon to help provide this free service to those who are moving or relocating within Canada.
After your move, where service is available, a Welcome Wagon Representative will visit your home, bringing you a basket filled with coupons, gifts and information about local merchants and services (e.g. grocery, hardware and drug stores, etc.), as well as maps and all the civic information you may need to familiarize yourself with your new community. To arrange for your personal welcome visit, call United Van Lines toll-free at 1-800-668-5544 before you move and register your name for this service. Before long, a Welcome Wagon Representative will call you to set up a convenient time for a visit.
